What is a leased line?
A dedicated, fixed-bandwidth data connection. The Direct Internet Access (DIA), is delivered directly from your local exchange to your business premises, it is exclusive to your business – therefore not diluted by other users.
How does it work?
A fibre line channelled directly to your business premises. It will deliver a reliable, high-quality internet connection – a leased line uses end-to-end fibre optic connections and delivers symmetric download and upload speeds up to 1Gbps. The service is provided on a bespoke basis.
Benefits
Protection
The leased line connection is private so the risks of being intercepted upon a shared network is reduced.
No usage limits
No usage caps on the volume of data you can transfer. No unexpected bills for exceeding your data allowance.
Support
Our team of experts on hand to provide support in the event of disruption to your service.
Why should I have a leased line?
If your business has a high reliance on data usage, in-house hosting, video conferencing and large file transfers, you should consider investing in leased line connectivity. It is ideal for medium and large businesses, whether single or multi-site. We offer DIA services that are determined by your data requirements and your location in relation to the exchange and how they are technically delivered. All come with robust Service Level Agreements (SLAs) focused on performance and availability.
